WoC Aotearoa End of Year Reflections

This online hui is a chance for us to gather and connect, share some end of year reflections, the challenges we’ve faced, what we will take going forward, and think about some intentions for next year.

The event will be an open floor sharing circle and is just for Women of Colour. We love our allies and know that in this instance, allies will understand that this particular event is for women with lived experience.

Format:

1) Karakia and Whakawhanaungatanga

2) Discussions on the challenges you have faced at work this year in small breakout rooms

3) Share reflections and discover common themes

4) Set intentions for 2026

To respect privacy the gathering will not be recorded but we do ask that everyone who attends turn their cameras on. We encourage participation by sharing not just observing - even if it is just a connection or resonance with one or two other people. It is in these moments of hearing others' stories, that can make us feel less alone and that we belong to a community.
